The Tree Map | Founder

Driven by the urgency of climate change, I built a mobile app that records tree parameters with geolocation and uploads the data to the cloud, enabling citizens, NGOs, and governments to use it for conservation and sustainable urban planning.

Data from The Tree Map, in collaboration with Jeevitnadi and Pune River Revival, was compiled by the Pune Knowledge Cluster and presented to the Pune Municipal Corporation, contributing to a stay on a concretisation project at the Ram-Mula river confluence.

What began as manual mapping evolved into a scalable, user-friendly platform that democratizes data collection, allowing anyone to contribute to tree conservation.

Building The Tree Map brought together my interests in technology and environmental action, and I currently lead the team, working with schools and NGOs to expand the database and grow its impact.
